Automotive Service Technology

Automotive Service Technology program is designed to give students a general understanding of the mechanical systems and subsystems in motor vehicles. Learn the components of these systems along with a basic understanding of automotive electronic control systems.

Graduates of this program are prepared for entry-level employment in specialized or general automotive service through training in the following areas:

  • Conventional and computerized electrical systems
  • Fuel and ignition systems
  • Brakes, steering and suspension systems
  • Advanced computerized diagnostic systems
  • Computerized diagnostic systems
  • ASE certification preparation
