Our AST program offers flexible scheduling and affordable, practical training for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing various makes and models of automobiles.
Our classes combine theory with practical application of hands-on skills. Students will learn the use of hand and specialty tools and the importance of shop safety procedures, plus customer service skills. Our program is taught by professional instructors in simulated shop environments to help you develop the hands-on experience that employers seek.
At AAI, we are committed to helping you build a strong foundation for your future success as an automotive service technician. The AST graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment and be able to inspect, diagnose and repair automatic or manual transmissions, as well as perform advanced diagnostic procedures for emission control systems plus service vehicles that use alternative fuels and hybrid power. They will be adequately trained in working with both computerized and conventional systems. Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent.
