What is a Trade & Vocational School?

Trade schools and career colleges focus on the technical skills students need to meet employer requirements. We help students get the vocational-technical school training for the careers they want. It’s important to note the differences between trade schools vs colleges:

Our curriculum is not theoretical; instead, we prepare students for their chosen careers by providing hands-on experience and job-specific training.

We dive right into courses related to our trade school programs, compared to four-year college where “major” courses normally don’t even begin until the 3rd year. AAI gives you the skills, support, and information to help you obtain the vocational career you want.

Trade schools may potentially cost less as well. The average per-year tuition at a four-year private nonprofit college can feel overwhelming to some students. At AAI, we understand the importance of affordability for our students, which is why we invite all campus visitors to meet with financial aid. It’s important to review this information in detail to confirm what program best meets your financial needs. For additional details about estimating your tuition, please see our Net Price Calculator.

We also invite you to meet with our financial aid department for a personalized consultation where you can ask questions and develop a clear understanding of the financial aid options that are available at AAI. We want to make career training an affordable investment in your future, so please get in touch with us to find out how we can help.

Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.
