CDL Program Admissions Requirements
Motor Vehicle Record
Applicants must meet specific Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements, including on DUI/DWI convictions, at-fault
accidents, and traffic points.

Workforce Agency Funding
Workforce agencies offer a range of funding options to help students pursue their educational goals. These include state and federal tuition assistance programs, grants, and other support services designed to make education more accessible.
Veterans Funding
Veterans or eligible beneficiaries may qualify to use the GI Bill at Arizona Automotive Institute. Some students may even qualify for more than one benefit. Available programs include Post 911 GI Bill (Chapter 33), Montgomery GI Bi II (Chapter 30), Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program ( DEA/Chapter 35), and Chapter 1606 ( Montgomery GI BillSelected Reserve).1
Scholarships

Vocational Rehabilitation Programs
A student with a physical or mental disability which may be a handicap to employment may be eligible for training services provided through the state government agency for Vocational Rehabilitation. Students desiring further information should contact the admissions office or call Vocational Rehabilitation directly.
Cash Payments
Students with available funds can choose to pay for their training directly. Students can pay the full tuition amount prior to classes beginning. If the student cannot pay the tuition amount in full, then the student will be required to pay 50% prior to the start date
and must pay the rest prior to graduation.2
Third-Party Lending
Third party lenders can provide student loans specifically designed for educational purposes. Lenders also offer students private financing options. Lenders work with schools to help qualified applicants achieve success by removing financial roadblocks to enrollment.3
