Automotive Service Technology

Do you have a passion for machinery and working with your hands? If you’re interested in auto technician work, you’ll want to consider our Automotive Service Technology program.

Arizona Automotive Institute’s auto mechanic school offers an excellent opportunity to receive real-world automotive service technician training from experienced instructors via in-depth car mechanic courses that will prepare you for an for an exciting career in automotive repair.

We’ll go through inspecting, diagnosing and repairing 4, 6, and 8-cylinder foreign and domestic vehicles. Major systems covered include engine performance, steering and suspension, brakes and tires, electrical and air conditioning. 

As a graduate of our automotive school, you’ll be ready to tackle the many challenges that working car mechanics face day-to-day.

Combination Welding

Do you enjoy using sophisticated, powerful and complicated tools? Are you unafraid of heat, flames and sparks? If so, you may want to consider AAI’s Combination Welding program.

Arizona Automotive Institute’s welding training program offers flexible hours for those with busy schedules, with the chance to learn from industry-experienced instructors in a hands-on, simulated work environment. 

We limit class sizes to ensure that students get the personalized attention they need to prepare for an exciting career, and our classes focus on building skills desired by actual employers.

As a student of AAI’s welding education program, you will learn to perform shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas meta arc welding, and flux core arc welding on a variety of metals and surfaces. These skills, along with the technical knowledge gained in this program, give students the foundation for rewarding careers as professional welders.

Diesel – Heavy Truck

Do you enjoy working with large machinery? If that sounds intriguing, you may want to consider our Diesel – Heavy Truck training program.

There’s no better choice for your diesel mechanic training than AAI. Our small class sizes, hands-on training, and flexible schedules mean there has never been a better time to get started on your future.

Our career training program will teach you the skills and techniques required to confidently pursue a career as a diesel truck technician.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Basic Refrigeration

Are you a problem solver who likes to work with your hands? If so, our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Basic Refrigeration (HVAC/BR) training program might be the perfect fit for you.

As a student of Arizona Automotive Institute’s (AAI) HVAC/BR program, you will have the opportunity to train with instructors who have real-world experience in the industry so you can gain the knowledge, certification and HVAC technician skills that employers want. You can also earn your EPA certification, which allows you to work with refrigerants in both residential and commercial applications.

As a graduate of our HVAC school, you’ll be ready to tackle the many challenges that working HVAC and refrigeration technicians face on a daily basis.

Scholarships for Veterans

Some forms of financial aid are only available to good standing members of the military and their families. This aid can have additional restrictions, and our financial aid team is happy to discuss these programs with you in detail.

MyCAA for Military Spouses 

This program provides up to $4,000 worth of aid to eligible military spouses. The scholarship is available to those pursuing a license, certification, or Associate degree in a portable career field as designated by the Department of Defense.

Forever GI Bill

This version of the GI Bill provides expanded benefits to more service members. The program was modernized somewhat, with most changes increasing availability of programs and funds. A full summary of the changes is available on the Veterans Affairs website.
