Hands-on Learning Lab

Our campus offers a mixture of traditional classroom settings with hands-on learning labs that simulate a real, on-the-job experience for our students.Our students will be working with the tools and equipment they need to use in the working world, ensuring that they will be prepared to jump straight into their job upon graduation.

Automotive Service Technician

Many people have a vehicle and keeping up with the maintenance of vehicles is an important part of what Automotive Service Technicians do. Learn how to assess, diagnose and repair commonly seen maintenance issues on both domestic and foreign vehicles.

Diving into the automotive industry without proper training can be challenging. The industry is a fast-paced environment that requires a complex set of skills. With Arizona Automotive Institute’s automotive service technician program, you can learn to identify basic automotive problems and assist a trained mechanic to replace standard automotive parts.

Combination Welding

Welding is a versatile and widely used skill. From custom builds on vehicles to building construction and even art, completion of our combination welding program can set you up for success in an industry of many different opportunities.

The industries that utilize welding trade specialists are often large sectors that provide opportunity for career growth and advancement. Automotive and aerospace manufacturers, welding shops, and even NASA continuously look for skilled and certified welders. Our combination welding program helps provide the skills for our students to find success in a variety of industries.

Construction & Trades Management

If you enjoy planning, working with people, mathematics, and seeing projects through, the Construction & Trades Management program at Arizona Automotive Institute is waiting for you. This program integrates the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER)’s Project Management and Project Supervision curriculum and topics.

With lessons from Arizona Automotive Institute, you can gain the skills to manage building projects and work your way up in the construction industry. Our construction and trades management program is current and meets industry standards. AAI can continue to help you in the industry after graduation.

Diesel/Heavy Truck

Large-scale vehicles like semi-trucks or city buses require a more specialized version of maintenance than your average commuter vehicle. This program teaches you the ins and outs of working with large equipment and vehicles.

Our heavy truck technician program can provide you with a broad knowledge and skill set to handle a diverse range of larger vehicles. After graduation, you can apply to enter the industry with the skills to provide service on large vehicles.  Industry experienced instructors provide our students with current and useful information about  what to expect when entering  into the diesel/heavy truck industry.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Basic Refrigeration

HVAC industry careers are a great opportunity, and students who successfully complete our HVAC program can enter the industry with confidence.
